EXIT Realty Bitterroot Valley Gives Back
REALTORS® Support One of Their Own
2014 was a very difficult year for Barb Christ, Broker/Owner of ReMax Gold Country in Hamilton. She was in a terrible car accident requiring many surgeries resulting in having to learn to walk again. She then lost her main support, caregiver, the love of her life and best friend; her husband. Her mother moved to Hamilton to help with her care. Her mother passed away just before Christmas.
“Our company is an empathy driven company,” said Max Coleman, Broker/Owner of EXIT Realty Bitterroot Valley. “Our corporate culture is one of helping each other grow and be successful. We knew Barb needed support and help.”
Jani Summers, a top producing agent with EXIT Realty Bitterroot Valley, issued a challenge to all other agents on the Bitterroot Valley Board of REALTORS® to donate $50 from every closed transaction between December 1st and December 31st to the Barb Christ Donation Fund.
As a Brokerage, EXIT Realty Bitterroot Valley issued the same challenge to every Brokerage on the Board.
“Many REALTORS® and Brokerages accepted the challenge,” said Coleman. “It’s all about helping someone in our community, our profession carry a very heavy load. I am very proud of and thankful for our agents’ generous spirit.”
In the end, EXIT Realty Bitterroot Valley and its agents contributed a total of $2700 to the Barb Christ Donation Fund.
