Agricultural Land Values

As far as land mass, Montana is the 4th largest state behind Alaska, Texas and California.  However, according to the Montana Agricultural Facts of 2014, Montana's 59.8 million acres of land in farms and ranches ranks 2nd in the nation behind Texas.

The following 6 charts/tables from the August 2015 Report by the USDA shows the Average Farm Real Estate Values for the United States and by individual states.  It is also broke down by cropland and pasture values for both the United States and for individual states.  It is interesting that total Montana values have gone up 3.5% over 2014 values.
